I’m very excited to be heading to Europe in less than a couple of weeks with Freedom of Fear to support our Melbourne mates in Ne Oblivscaris alongside new mates Walkways from Israel! While I’ve played overseas a few times now, this will be my first time doing a proper month-long tour which has been the main goal for a very long time now. We are playing 21 shows in 14 different countries which will be incredible!

It’s NeO’s 9th European tour, so they well and truly have a strong fanbase over there which means fairly large venues/crowds. Can’t wait to kick off!

In other news, Dyssidia’s long awaited follow up to our 2020 album Costly Signals is nearing completion. The mixing has almost been finalised so we’ll be sending off the album for mastering in the next few weeks. It’s looking like an early-mid 2025 release with touring to follow. We have all put in so much time into these songs over the last few years and we’re very proud of how the album has turned out. It’s extremely progressive with lots of odd-time and challenging sections, but with also some more accessible sections than on our past releases. Can’t wait for everyone to hear it :)

Other than that, drum lessons have been going really well this year with students making great progress in areas such as the AMEB rock school curriculum, learning jazz & latin concepts, as well as extreme metal drumming!
